ATLANTA – Americans For Prosperity Georgia, the state’s premiere grassroots organization for economic freedom, is launching a powerful new Freedom Phone system and encouraging its 53,000 activists statewide to engage in the 2014 Freedom Phone Marathon.

The Freedom Phone system will allow activists to reach out through conversation to 166,000 Georgians that Americans For Prosperity has identified as free market and limited government oriented. The goal is to engage them on the issues and encourage them to become more vocal in their support for free market policy ideas.

“The Freedom Phone system is exciting! It allows our activists to call as many as 50 persons in an hour from anywhere – their home computer, laptop, tablet or any mobile device,” says AFP Georgia Communications Director Joel Aaron Foster. “Activists can call on their own or make it a part of a regularly scheduled group meeting. They can even host Freedom Phone Marathon House Parties. If each person in our army of activists makes 3-4 calls, we will blow past the goal of reaching 166,000 Georgians who are currently in the system.”

Activists can volunteer to participate on their own time in the Freedom Phone Marathon by visiting AFP Georgia staff will promptly email them the necessary login details and directions to access and use the system and even walk them through it personally over the phone.
