Americans for Prosperity Continues to Fight McAuliffe’s Agenda

“Despite tremendous pressure from Governor McAuliffe and his Washington, DC-style shutdown politics, a majority of the General Assembly stood firm and did the right thing for Virginia,” said AFP-Virginia State Director Sean Lansing. “Members who stood up for both 8.1 million Virginians and our most needy citizens by rejecting a government shutdown and the disastrous effects of Medicaid expansion should be applauded for their efforts.”Arlington—Americans for Prosperity-Virginia debuted a new radio ad Wednesday titled “Thank You.” The ad, which will run throughout Virginia, thanks members of the General Assembly for standing up for 8.1 million Virginians by passing a clean budget and rejecting Medicaid expansion.
