Sister foundation promotes “proven approach to budget and tax reform”
RALEIGH – Americans for Prosperity Foundation’s North Carolina State Director, Donald Bryson, responded to today’s reports of a $400 million state revenue surplus with the following statement:
“Today’s state revenue figures are a testament to the hard work of conservative lawmakers who tackled budget and tax reform in the 2011 and 2013 legislative sessions. By first trimming fat out of the state budget, and then offering tax relief to struggling families and businesses while simplifying the revenue code to streamline commerce, Gov. McCrory and state legislators removed barriers to prosperity for millions of citizens.”
“Americans for Prosperity Foundation will continue to educate North Carolinians about the benefits of controlled government spending and lower taxes through our N.C. Real Solutions project.”
N.C. Real Solutions is a project of Americans for Prosperity Foundation that seeks to educate North Carolina Citizens on the success of recently passed state budget reforms by the North Carolina General Assembly.
N.C. Real Solutions involves a multi-media campaign that includes: radio and television commercials and a comprehensive website to educate the public on the 2013 state tax reforms that will provide $2.4 billion in tax relief to North Carolina taxpayers.
