Jan 3, 2014 by AFP

We are looking forward to our next education panel, taking place at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11 at the Cimarron Library (120 N. Main, Cimarron, KS). Let’s meet the panelists you’ll be hearing from during this first education panel of 2014:

Kristin George is a co-founder of Kansans Against Common Core. She began researching Common Core in early 2013 after reading an article about the new standards. As she began to ask questions and look for more information, she discovered most people knew very little about Common Core and the current changes happening in education. Since then, she has been working to inform others about Common Core through grassroots efforts. Kristin currently lives in Pratt, Kansas, with her husband and two young children.

Jenni White is co-founder and president of Restore Oklahoma Public Education. She has done extensive research on Common Core/College & Career Ready standards, and she has had numerous articles published on sites such as American Thinker. Jenni is a former science teacher and epidemiologist for the Oklahoma State Department of Health. She and her husband have 5 children.
