Jul 25, 2022 by AFP

Congressman John Curtis Confirmed to Attend and Bring a Message Back to Washington: Americans are paying for your reckless spending. Enough!

Lehi, UT— On Tuesday, July 26, Americans for Prosperity (AFP) will partner with a local gas station, All About Food & Fuel, in Lehi, UT to lower gas to $2.38/gallon – the national average in mid-January 2021—as compared to the current average gas price in Utah at $5.01/gallon. This grassroots awareness event is part of AFP’s national “The True Cost of Washington” campaign which highlights rising costs for Utahns and their businesses—in May alone, Utahns spent an extra $800 out of pocket due to inflation.

AFP-UT experts will discuss the truth behind rising costs and propose real solutions to make everyday life more affordable for Utahns and their businesses. More information on the True Cost of Washington can be found here.
