Media Advisory: AFP-NH Hosting Pints and Policy Event

Aug 14, 2019 by AFP

Event focuses on unrigging the economy, eliminating tax extenders and Export-Import Bank

MANCHESTER, NH – Americans for Prosperity-New Hampshire (AFP-NH) today announced it will host a Policy and Pints event at Great North Aleworks in Manchester on August 20th. The event is a part of AFP’s “Unrig the Economy” campaign, a multiyear, multimillion-dollar effort dedicated to creating a stronger economy by leveling playing field for all.

The policy discussion will focus on why Congress should not bring back tax extenders or reauthorize the Export-Import Bank – two blatant examples of corporate welfare.

WHAT: Policy and Pints: Unrigging the Economy

WHERE: Great North Aleworks
1050 Holt Ave. Unit #14 Manchester, NH 03102

WHEN: August 20, 2019
6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

“The Export-Import Bank and tax extenders are ingrained in cronyism that tilts the playing field in favor of the well-connected at the expense of everyone else. We are working to educate Granite Staters on why these forms of corporate welfare should be eliminated so everyone has an equal shot at their American dream,” said Greg Moore, AFP-NH State Director. “Everyone should play by the same rules and our activists are eager to work with anyone to help unrig the economy for every American.”
