ICYMI: AFP-TN Delivers Signatures on Taxpayer Protection Act to the Metro Clerk

NASHVILLE, TN – Yesterday, Americans for Prosperity-Tennessee (AFP-TN) delivered nearly 20,000 signatures to the Metro Clerk’s office in support of the Nashville Taxpayer Protection Act. The initiative is intended to roll back Mayor Cooper’s 34-37% tax increase and cap property tax rate increases to 2% every year, unless voted on by the people.

The grassroots group contacted over 38,000 Tennesseans through canvassing, texting, and phone calls.
