Topeka, KS—Americans for Prosperity-Kansas (AFP-KS) is celebrating the primary wins of state legislative policy champions across Kansas.
Over the past several months, AFP-KS’ grassroots activists have been engaging with voters to advocate for principled candidates in addition to running robust mail and digital campaigns. After making a push to reach more than 31,000 voters in the state, AFP-KS celebrates the primary victories of eight candidates with an additional race too close to call.
AFP-KS State Director, Liz Patton, made the following statement:
“AFP-KS is thrilled to congratulate these principled leaders who will move forward to the general election. Kansans made the right choice by supporting these individuals who understand the most critical issues facing our state and stand ready to make positive changes in the legislature.
“Last night’s victories come at the hard work and dedication of hundreds of grassroots activists in our state who work tirelessly to educate voters on the best candidates on the ballot. Without our grassroots base this success wouldn’t be possible and we’re ready to continue our work throughout November.”
