Americans for Prosperity-Arkansas Issues Statement on Education Secretary’s Visit
Little Rock, AR—Following Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona’s visit to the state, Americans for Prosperity-Arkansas (AFP-AR) called out the Biden Administration’s reckless plans to burden taxpayers with the soaring cost of higher education and said that hardworking families are already struggling under inflationary policies caused by ‘Bidenomics.’
AFP-AR State Director, Ryan Norris, released the following statement:
“Forgiving student loans isn’t the answer Arkansans need to combat skyrocketing inflation due to ‘Bidenomics’ and it’s certainly not a bill that working class taxpayers want to pick up for others. The Biden Administration’s reckless plans to bailout student loans will only add to inflation and push up prices at the grocery store and at the gas pump even more. The true cost of higher education is what Secretary Cardona ought to address at the root of the issue.”
