AFP-GA Celebrates First Enrollment Period for NEW Georgia Promise Scholarship
Atlanta, Georgia—Tomorrow marks the very first enrollment period for the Georgia Promise Scholarship.
Americans for Prosperity-Georgia (AFP-GA), a chief supporter of last year’s landmark creation of the Georgia Promise Scholarship, celebrated the start of enrollment.
AFP-GA State Director Tony West issued the following statement:
“On behalf of all of AFP-GA’s activists, we are excited to see school choice becoming a reality in the Peach State. The more students and families who can take control of their education through the Georgia Promise Scholarship, the more potential we can unlock for our children and their futures.
“Once again, we wish to thank every lawmaker and activists who did their part to expand education freedom and we encourage every Georgia family to visit the My Georgia Promise website to see if their child is eligible for an education saving account.
“But our work is not done. AFP-GA will not rest until every child in the state is eligible to take advantage of this transformational opportunity to choose their school—and their future.”
