Don't Hand Over your Tax Dollars to Gaming Industry Elites

Georgia lawmakers have spent more than $1 Billion dollars in taxpayer funded handouts to billionaire film industry moguls since the inception of the film tax credit in Georgia. Last year alone, Georgia lawmakers handed out nearly $200 million of your hard-earned tax dollars to well-connected movie company elites and they want to do even more with House Bill 339 and ADD the gaming industry to the list of favored industries receiving your largesse! Georgians can’t afford to subsidize a multi-billion dollar industry with our tax dollars. Movies and video games should be supported by movie ticket and video game purchases, not by forcing taxpayers to fork over millions of our tax dollars in the name of politically connected crony capitalism.
