Americans for Prosperity-Colorado’s (AFP-CO) mission is to transform Colorado by educating and mobilizing communities to advance policies that remove barriers to opportunity and empower Colorado families to flourish.

At Americans for Prosperity, we believe it’s essential for the people to know how their legislators are representing them and where they stand on important issues. This information allows us to hold our politicians accountable not just for what they say but for what they do.

On January 12, 2019, we released our legislative priorities highlighting five policy areas the Chapter would focus on during the legislative session: taxes/economic opportunity, criminal justice reform, free expression, business and education.

The votes referenced in the scorecard highlight the policy areas that were used to determine a legislator’s alignment with AFP-CO’s priorities.
