Americans for Prosperity Lauds Nomination of 2016 Conservative of the Year Frank Edelblut as Education Commissioner
MANCHESTER – Americans for Prosperity – New Hampshire (AFP-NH) today praised Governor Chris Sununu’s selection of former state representative and 2016 AFP-NH Tom Thomson Conservative of the Year Award winner Frank Edelblut as Commissioner of Education. If approved by the Executive Council, Edelblut would run the Department and manage it’s $1.29 billion budget, the second largest in state government.
“Frank Edelblut is committed to reforming education in New Hampshire so that every child gets a chance at a great education,” said Greg Moore, AFP-NH State Director. “No parent should be forced to send his or her child to a school that doesn’t work for them. Frank is committed to school choice and giving children as many options as possible to make sure they get the best education possible. He’s a proven leader and problem solver who will make sure that taxpayer funds are managed well and people are held accountable for results. I commend Governor Sununu on this outstanding selection.”
