SALT LAKE CITY, UT—Americans for Prosperity-Utah (AFP-UT) today announced the release of its 2021 legislative scorecard—highlighting the key votes legislators took during this year’s legislative session to tackle the most critical issues Utahns face daily. AFP-UT’s scorecard serves as a comprehensive guide to provide transparency between constituents and their elected representatives. It highlights the important issues of furthering economic opportunity, criminal justice reform, health care, and education.
AFP-UT State Director Heather Andrews issued the following statement:
“Our annual scorecard is assembled with the intent of showing Utahns how their elected officials voted during the legislative session on a wide variety of issues. As a tool, it provides transparency by highlighting legislators’ actions for their constituents. Our goal is to provide Utahns with this as a platform to facilitate engagement with our policymakers and to encourage them to advance the issues that are most critical to ourselves and our families. Using this knowledge to stay informed and hold our elected officials accountable, we’re confident that by working together with our lawmakers that we can continue to make strides to ensure Utah is the best place to live, work, and raise a family.”
