SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Americans for Prosperity-Utah (AFP-UT) today announced its 2020 legislative agenda. The grassroots group will advocate for legislation in key policy areas that will drive long-term solutions to Utah’s toughest challenges. The agenda provides a vision for policies that will advance economic growth and improve the lives of every Utahn.

AFP-UT State Director, Heather Andrews issued the following statement:
“Our lawmakers have a lot of work to do – particularly after the tax reform special session. AFP is committed to standing with the people of Utah to build a simple, efficient, equal, and predictable tax code that does not create new burdens on taxpayers. We look forward to working the lawmakers to move Utah’s tax code closer to that ideal.
“We will also work with lawmakers to reimagine our state’s approach to education, criminal justice, occupational licensing, and free speech.”
