Americans for Prosperity Urges Quick Passage of SB 562, Second Chance Act

RALEIGH, NC—Americans for Prosperity-North Carolina (AFP-NC) today calls on the House Rules Committee to take quick action and pass Senate Bill 562, the Second Chance Act, to ensure swift passage on the House floor. AFP-NC issued a key vote alert urging the full body to support the measure.

AFP-NC State Director Chris McCoy issued the following statement:

“Our Representatives in Raleigh have an opportunity to improve lives and make our communities safer by passing the Second Chance Act. By providing a clean slate to those who have paid their debts to society, SB 562 will create real second chances and modernize our court system. We urge the House to take swift action and support the passage of SB 562.
