Statesman and Doctor Made North Carolina a Better Place
RALEIGH – Americans for Prosperity – North Carolina Deputy State Director Donald Bryson released the following statement in response to the passing of retired neurosurgeon and State Representative Jim Fulghum.
“Representative Jim Fulghum retired from medicine to apply his people-oriented, problem-solving mindset to tackling the big issues facing our state,” explained Donald Bryson, Deputy State Director of Americans for Prosperity – North Carolina. “He understood that there are many things government does poorly, and was aggressive in rooting out wasteful spending of taxpayer dollars and regulatory overreach. Because of his hard work North Carolinians are taxed less, their government works harder, and they have greater freedom to build their lives. We mourn his passing and remember well the legacy he brought to state government.”
