Harrisburg, PA — Americans for Prosperity-Pennsylvania is reacting to the recent article, Corbett changes course on Medicaid, detailing Governor Corbett’s move to alter his Medicaid plan to include a work incentive rather than a work requirement for recipients.

“Governor Corbett’s decision is proof of what we have known all along – that Medicaid Expansion, just like ObamaCare which made it possible – is not ready to be executed and should not be imposed upon the hard-working families of Pennsylvania,” said Anna McCauslin, Policy Director of Americans for Prosperity Pennsylvania.  “This malfunction and miscalculation on Medicaid Expansion should show Governor Corbett once and for all that Medicaid Expansion is not in the best interest of the people of our Commonwealth.”

The entire plan is still pending approval by the federal government.
