DENVER, Colo. – Americans for Prosperity-Colorado (AFP-CO) on Tuesday night released a statement on the outcome of Colorado’s gubernatorial race. The group also applauded its activists for their inspiring effort and hard work to promote economic freedom.
AFP-CO State Director Jesse Mallory released the following statement:
“No matter who’s in office, we will continue to promote policies that expand prosperity and opportunity for Coloradans. Our elected officials must remain committed to what has made our state great—empowering individuals, families, and businesses, not an overreaching government. We hope we can find common ground with Governor-elect Polis to tackle many of our state’s pressing issues, especially health care. Instead of doubling down on a misguided government-run, single-payer health care system, we must focus on finding ways to make health care more affordable.
“I want to thank our activists for their hard work. The end of this election merely marks the beginning of the year-round fight for freedom and the vital role of holding our elected officials accountable.”
