“wherever Congressman Braley goes, he will hear from his constituents”

DES MOINES – Americans for Prosperity – Iowa is not letting up on Congressman Braley. Two days after releasing a major television ad holding Congressman Bruce Braley accountable for his opposition to the Keystone pipeline and statement mocking farmers, AFP is releasing a social media ad effort. As with the television ad, the social media ad highlights Rep. Braley’s flip-flopping on the Keystone pipeline and shows video of a fundraising speech in which he expresses concern about a “farmer from Iowa, who never went to law school, serving as the next chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee.”

The ad is being promoted on Facebook, Google, and other social media sites to Iowans.

“Rep. Bruce Braley may try to hide from his unpopular sentiments but AFP will make sure he hears from his constituents,” explained Mark Lucas, Iowa State Director of Americans for Prosperity. “This new social media ad effort doubles down on our existing television ad to put pressure on Rep. Braley to stand up for Iowans, not special interests.”

While the Keystone pipeline would create jobs, Representative Braley decided to vote against it after initially supporting the project. His true colors seem to lie with radical supporters who look down their noses at the hard working farmers of Iowa. We hope Rep. Braley will change his tune, apologize to Iowa’s farmers, and vote for policies like the Keystone pipeline that create jobs and improve the economic well-being of our state and nation.”
