HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania chapter of Americans for Prosperity is calling on our state’s delegation in Congress to work against the EPA’s proposed rules on power plants.
State Director Jennifer Stefano had the following to say:
“Pennsylvania is getting more than 40 percent of our electricity from coal. It’s completely unfair for the Obama administration to force these regulations on working families when there’s no reason to believe they’ll do much to improve the environment. Folks in this state need a growing economy to support a family, not more regulations from Washington that are going to make us all think twice about turning on the lights at home. I want to see every member of the Pennsylvania congressional delegation working to block this regulatory assault on affordable energy.”
