AFP-Virginia: Debuts Radio Ad titled “Shutdown”

Feb 26, 2014 by AFP

Richmond—Americans for Prosperity-Virginia debuted a new radio ad Wednesday that sheds light on the efforts of President Obama and Governor McAuliffe to force more ObamaCare on Virginia citizens.

“Shutdown” urges legislators to keep fighting against the president’s disastrous health care agenda while questioning the wisdom of shutting down Virginia’s government over ObamaCare.

“ObamaCare has already had a devastating impact on millions of Americans, and Medicaid expansion—which is really just another name for ObamaCare—is threatening to do the same in Virginia,” said AFP-Virginia State Director Sean Lansing. “This is bad policy that will likely significantly reduce the quality of care for hundreds of thousands of Virginians, and it is irresponsible for some legislators in Richmond to put politics over people by holding the budget hostage and threatening a government shutdown over ObamaCare.”
