As one of fourteen target states included in AFP’s full scale, national campaign, Pennsylvanians sent a combined 33,007 letters to Sens. Pat Toomey and Bob Casey to encourage them to uphold the Constitution by voting “yes” on the Senate floor.

Other critical highlights from the Keystone State’s efforts included seventeen individuals from other grassroots advocacy groups in PA signed onto AFP’s coalition letter.

They also sent two million pieces of direct mail and 4.3 million peer-to-peer texts. The grassroots group plans to launch a campaign with ads to thank senators who voted to confirm Judge Barrett.
AFP-PA State Director Ashley Klingensmith issued the following statement:
“Pennsylvanians banded together like never before to support the confirmation of a fair and qualified jurist that will put the Constitution first, interpret the law as written, and uphold our personal freedoms. This could not have been accomplished without the help of our dedicated partners and grassroots activists that helped to generate awareness of her excellent credentials and qualifications. Thank you, Sen. Pat Toomey, for voting yes in support of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court and demonstrating sound leadership throughout the process.”
