HARRISBURG, Pa. – Americans for Prosperity-Pennsylvania (AFP-PA) today released their 2021-2022 legislative agenda entitled Pennsylvania’s Path to Prosperity. The grassroots group also released their 2019-2020 legislative scorecard that assesses how state legislators voted on the most critical issues to enhance transparency and accountability between elected officials and citizens. As a tool, the scorecard encourages constituents to have their voices and priorities heard in the legislative process and inspire their friends and neighbors to do the same.
AFP-PA State Director Ashley Klingensmith issued the following statement:
“Our goal at Americans for Prosperity is to amplify the voices of our activists across Pennsylvania and to provide them with a platform for engagement to foster more productive conversations that result in meaningful policy reforms within the state. It is also to encourage legislators to champion principled policy solutions to address the challenges Pennsylvanians face daily,”
“AFP-PA will place the full weight of its grassroots infrastructure behind health care reform as our top priority for 2021, focusing on driving solutions that will increase access to quality, affordable care for individuals across the state. We will advocate for making the temporary reforms implemented during COVID-19 permanent that brought greater flexibility to our system and enabled Pennsylvanians to receive care when and where it is needed most.”
