AFP-NE Urges Support of Educational Opportunity Bill

LINCOLN, NE – Americans for Prosperity – Nebraska (AFP-NE) today urged legislators to support LB 670, a bill that creates the Opportunity Scholarship Program, a tax credit scholarship program that would expand educational opportunities for thousands of students in Nebraska.

“Educational opportunity empowers more Nebraskans to help find the right education that fits their children’s needs,” said Jessica Shelburn, AFP-NE State Director. “This bill is a positive step in the right direction to ensure our kids have a chance to discover, develop, and apply their talents. Legislators should support this bill and help remove barriers to unique and diverse approaches to education that benefit families, students, and teachers.”
