The following AFP letter to the editor on the RGGI Cap & Trade scheme appeared in the Star-Ledger.
The Star-Ledger owes its readers an honest debate on “climate change” and the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative cap-and-trade scheme, not glaring omissions and innuendo. (“N.J. in climate cross hairs,” editorial, May 12).
Here’s an inconvenient truth: CO2 levels have risen 10 percent over the last 17 years, yet global temperatures are unchanged. Reducing emissions is RGGI’s goal, yet nearly two decades worth of data call the entire premise into question.
