AFP Minnesota State Director John Cooney had the following to say:

“Minnesota families are suffering under harmful, big-government policies, and they’ve had enough. It’s time for our elected officials to ease their burden. It’s disappointing that Governor Dayton has refused to do so for his constituents.

“Governor Dayton would rather appease his liberal friends and allies in the state legislature in St. Paul than pursue policies that would create more jobs and more prosperity for his constituents throughout Minnesota.

“Hardworking families in Minnesota deserve to know when elected officials choose to work for their friends and allies instead of doing what’s best for their constituents.”

The new radio ad is part of AFP MN’s ongoing effort to hold politicians accountable for their stances on the issues most relevant to their constituents, which includes earned and paid media as well as robust grassroots action throughout the state.
