Message highlights how Sen. Landrieu has burdened Louisiana women and families
Arlington, Va. – Today Americans for Prosperity, the nation’s foremost grassroots advocate for economic freedom, announced the launch of a significant new ad buy in Louisiana holding Senator Mary Landrieu accountable for her record on wasteful government spending. The ad begins airing statewide today and will run for several weeks.
The message highlights how Senator Landrieu’s continued support for policies that grow the national debt and misuse taxpayer dollars is at odds with the careful budgeting that Louisiana families do every day. The ad asks why Senator Landrieu seems to live by her own rules.
“When legislators like Senator Landrieu vote for policies that waste Americans’ hard-earned paychecks, working families pay the price,” AFP President Tim Phillips said. “While Louisiana women and their families struggle to make ends meet, Senator Landrieu was out voting seven times in a row to put the country deeper in debt. Irresponsible use of taxpayer dollars and disastrous policies like ObamaCare are making life less affordable for everyone.”
