Dear Representatives:
On behalf of more than 2.8 million activists in all 50 states, AFP will rate the following amendments to H.R. 4909 – National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017.
I strongly urge you to vote YES on the following amendments to H.R. 4909 – National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017:
Promoting energy cost transparency: 245 – Buck (245) – Requires the DOD to evaluate the cost of different types of energy and purchase the most cost effective option available.
Opposing energy subsidies and mandates: 87 – Fleming (LA), Bridenstine (OK), McClintock (CA) – Prohibits funds for Executive Orders 13653 and 13693 that require DOD to meet certain green energy mandates and to incorporate climate change reviews within DOD operations, acquisition, and planning.
