AFP-Iowa Promotes Tyler Raygor to Deputy State Director

Feb 21, 2019 by AFP

DES MOINES, Iowa – Americans for Prosperity-Iowa (AFP-Iowa) announced today that Tyler Raygor will be promoted to Deputy State Director for the state-wide grassroots group. A Stratford, Iowa native, Raygor started with the organization as a Field Director in Sioux City before moving to central Iowa and taking over the statewide field operation as Grassroots Director. In his new role, Raygor will continue to lead AFP’s grassroots teams in the state, while also working to develop new coalitions and expand the organizations government affairs capability in Iowa.

Raygor shared the following statement about the announcement:

“I’m ready and excited to step into this new role. AFP is an incredibly effective organization and I’m honored to be given a greater opportunity to work on behalf of thousands of activists across our state to break down the barriers that are keeping Iowans from achieving their potential.”

AFP-Iowa State Director Drew Klein had this to say about the announcement:

“Tyler has been a vital member of the AFP-Iowa team and we’re pleased that he’ll be taking on a larger role in our organization.  We have a lot of work to do – both during the current legislative session and beyond – to ensure that Iowa remains a place where people want live, work, and raise their families. We’re glad to have Tyler on the team and look forward to seeing the growth and success he’ll bring to AFP-Iowa.”
