Tallahassee, FL – Americans for Prosperity-Florida (AFP-FL) today urged members of the Florida Senate Committee on Education to support S.B. 7070, a bill that would expand educational opportunities for children in Florida through the creation of the Family Empowerment Scholarship program.
AFP-FL State Director Skylar Zander issued the following statement:
“We remain committed to working with anyone who believes that the status quo in education can be improved. S.B. 7070 is a significant first step in expanding educational freedom for all children. We urge the Senate to support this bill and look forward to continuing the conversation about providing educational opportunities to every child in Florida, regardless of their ZIP code or family income.”
