Michael Fields joins State Director Dustin Zvonek in Colorado
Parker – Americans for Prosperity – Colorado, the state’s largest grassroots advocacy group announced Monday that Michael Fields has been named the organization’s new Deputy State Director.
“Michael has a great deal of experience working in state and local public policy and politics and I am thrilled to have him join our team in Colorado,” said AFP-CO state director Dustin Zvonek. “Our team has seen significant growth over the past few months, and Michael’s leadership and experience will go a long way toward helping us continue the fight for economic freedom here in the Centennial State.”
“When it comes to advocacy groups in Colorado, Americans for Prosperity has certainly developed a top-tier reputation,” Fields said. “I am looking forward to working with Dustin and the AFP-Colorado team to continue to expand our grassroots efforts across the state. It is a privilege to stand alongside tens of thousands of likeminded Colorado activists in advocating for economic growth and prosperity.”
Prior to joining AFP- Colorado, Fields served as a policy aide at the Colorado State House, a campaign manager for a mayoral race in Aurora, and a press aide for the U.S. Senate HELP Committee. He also has a law degree from CU-Boulder. Most recently, Fields taught at a charter school in Aurora. He lives in Centennial with his wife, Mele, and their son, Malakai.
