AFP Celebrates Educational Freedom Victory in Florida

Tallahassee, FL – Americans for Prosperity-Florida (AFP-FL) today celebrated the passage of HB 7067, a bill to expand educational freedoms in Florida spearheaded by Senator Manny Diaz and Representative Jennifer Sullivan.

AFP-FL state director Skylar Zander released the following statement:

“Passing HB 7067 is a victory for students across the Sunshine State. This legislation paves the way for more opportunities and a brighter future for Florida’s students, regardless of their ZIP Code and moves us closer towards universal educational opportunities. Every child and family in our state deserve the options that come with empowering them to have a greater stake in their education. We’re grateful for the tireless efforts of Senator Diaz and Representative Sullivan, as well as the strong leadership of Speaker Oliva and President Galvano – which helped pass this life-changing expansion and look forward to continuing our efforts to reach a universal educational system in our state. We look forward to seeing Governor DeSantis sign this into law.”
