AFP-Arkansas to Launch Ads Holding Senator Pryor Accountable on Affordable Care Act

Feb 5, 2014 by AFP

Little Rock, AR – Americans for Prosperity will launch a television ad on Thursday, educating Arkansans on the tremendous downsides of Senator Mark Pryor’s vote for the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

“We want all Arkansans to know where Senator Pryor stands on this issue,” said AFP-Arkansas Director Jason Cline. “We want people to contact him and let him know that this isn’t an amazing success story and that families are hurting.”

Cline continued, “The Senator has failed to apologize for telling Arkansans that if they liked their health insurance plan they can keep it, nor has he made a full court press to repeal the law. Arkansans deserve better than that from a sitting U.S. Senator.”

In August of 2013 Senator Pryor told 40/29 News that so far Obamacare had been an “amazing success story” when interviewed about its effects in Arkansas.

AFP-Arkansas will host a press conference to reveal more details and the ad itself at their Arkansas office tomorrow, February 5th. The information for the press conference is as follows:
