LINCOLN, Nebr. – Americans for Prosperity–Nebraska released the following statement applauding the positive policy agenda outlined in today’s State of the State address.
“Governor Ricketts outlined a series of policy reforms that, should the Legislature choose to act, will improve the lives of thousands of Nebraskans. Reducing the tax burden will allow more families to improve their lives and pursue their version of the American Dream. Controlling state spending is critical to making government sustainable and tax relief possible. Americans for Prosperity looks forward to working with the Governor and senators to enact the ideas from the State of the State into real reforms that help strengthen families and build our communities,” said AFP Regional Director Brad Stevens.
