Take a moment to remind Congress of its promise to get federal spending under control!

Tell Congress: Cap Spending

In order to get federal spending under control, Washington needs to live up to its agreements.

On the upcoming Continuing Resolution that funds the government following September 30, Congress must limit overall discretionary spending to $1.02 trillion — the level that it agreed to in the Budget Control Act of 2011 — in exchange for raising the debt ceiling.

Both parties have already agreed to these levels, both chambers have already passed them, and the President has signed them into law. This is a promise that Congress should keep; no more kicking the can down the road.
