Grassroots group unveils its 2020 legislative scorecard, launches digital ad and mail campaign
TALLAHASSEE, FL – Americans for Prosperity-Florida (AFP-FL) today announced the release of their annual Legislative Scorecard and the launch of a statewide digital ad and direct-mail campaign highlighting 62 legislators who earned an A+ on this year’s scorecard.
The grassroots group produces a comprehensive legislative digest to show Floridians how their elected officials voted on some of the most important bills from the 2020 legislative session, including expanding educational opportunity, criminal justice reform, and economic opportunity.
The digital ads direct Floridians to the scorecard website where people can view the entire scorecard and use a digital tool that allows them to contact their legislators.
AFP-FL State Director Skylar Zander issued the following statement:
“We are committed to helping Floridians see the voting record of their elected officials on the policies that impact them the most. From expanding educational freedom to increasing access to quality affordable, health care and removing economic barriers on workers, this has been another successful year for expanding freedom and opportunity for all Floridians.
“The 62 legislators who earned an A+ demonstrated their principled approach at the state capitol to advancing good policy. We are mobilizing our activists to make sure Floridians know where their lawmakers stood on important policy issues and to engage their legislators and talk about how we can continue to keep Florida the best place to live and work.”

Votes included in the 2020 Legislative Scorecard were announced to lawmakers through key vote alerts.
The mail and digital campaign encourage legislators to keep supporting further policies that continue to break barriers for every Floridian.
