2020 Legislative Session Produces Another Successful Year for Removing Barriers, Expanding Opportunity

Grassroots group unveils its 2020 legislative scorecard, launches digital ad and mail campaign

TALLAHASSEE, FL – Americans for Prosperity-Florida (AFP-FL) today announced the release of their annual Legislative Scorecard and the launch of a statewide digital ad and direct-mail campaign highlighting 62 legislators who earned an A+ on this year’s scorecard.

The grassroots group produces a comprehensive legislative digest to show Floridians how their elected officials voted on some of the most important bills from the 2020 legislative session, including expanding educational opportunity, criminal justice reform, and economic opportunity.

The digital ads direct Floridians to the scorecard website where people can view the entire scorecard and use a digital tool that allows them to contact their legislators.

AFP-FL State Director Skylar Zander issued the following statement:

Votes included in the 2020 Legislative Scorecard were announced to lawmakers through key vote alerts.

The mail and digital campaign encourage legislators to keep supporting further policies that continue to break barriers for every Floridian.
