Tammy Baldwin: Stop the Wasteful Spending!

August 20, 2012

AFP-Wisconsin Launches $500,000 statewide TV ad

Madison – AFP-Wisconsin, the Badger State’s leading advocate for economic freedom and prosperity, launched yet another major $500,000 statewide TV ad. The ad will air statewide in every major media market across Wisconsin for two weeks with the simple message that it’s time Washington and Tammy Baldwin follow in Wisconsin’s footsteps and stop the wasteful spending that is bankrupting America.

“Despite the struggling national economy and Washington’s budget disaster, Wisconsin has led the way in making our state financially stable,” said Luke Hilgemann, AFP-Wisconsin State Director. “If Wisconsin can do it, why can’t Washington?”

“It’s time Washington and our elected officials like Tammy Baldwin follow in Wisconsin’s footsteps, and start making tough choices and spend smarter and more efficiently. The simple truth is, we cannot continue to spend at this rate. It’s time Tammy Baldwin stand up for Wisconsin taxpayers and demand Washington tighten its belt, and live within a budget.”

“Wisconsinites work too hard and pay too much in taxes for leaders like Tammy Baldwin to spend so much and waste so much, including voting for the almost $2 Trillion health care takeover. Everyone is tightening their belts. So should Washington. Washington needs to learn how to do more with less.”
