Paul Ryan to Speak at 'Hands Off My Health Care Rally'
WASHINGTON – Americans for Prosperity, a leading grassroots organization with over 1.9 million members opposed to Obama’s health care takeover, is proud to announce Rep. Paul Ryan will join an impressive lineup of speakers at the massive March 27th Hands Off My Health Care rally on Capitol Hill.
“The American people have rejected this egregious federal intrusion in their health care,” said Tim Phillips, President of Americans for Prosperity. “Thousands of citizens will make their voices heard on Capitol Hill and declare this unprecedented legislation unconstitutional.”
A recent New York Times article reported the White House is working with up to 60 outside groups such as La Raza and the SEIU to coordinate demonstrations in favor of the unpopular legislation.
“This is one of the most important cases in a generation and the White House is working contrary to the will of the American people. That’s why President Obama is doing everything possible to generate last-minute support for a law that we feel violates the Constitution.” Phillips continued.
