Subject: ICYMI: Appleton Post-Crescent: Insurance changes to offset budget deficit for Kimberly schools
Officials say savings from health insurance changes for employees in the Kimberly Area School District will offset a projected $1.1 million budget deficit next year.
The Board of Education unanimously approved changes Monday that include introduction of a high-deductible health insurance plan. Employees also will be given three other costlier insurance options Gary Kvasnica, business service director for the school district, said the change “is a win-win all the way around.”
