Budget “continues to move Wisconsin on the path to prosperity,” state director says.

MADISON — Americans for Prosperity – Wisconsin State Director Luke Hilgemann released the following statement after Governor Walker signed the 2013-15 State Budget.

“Congratulations to Governor Walker and the State Legislature on the finalization of the 2013-15 State Budget.  A $650 million income tax cut, significant tax reform, school choice expansion and entitlement reform are just a few of the things that were accomplished in this process.  While this budget may not be perfect, it continues to move Wisconsin on the path to prosperity.”

“I would also like to thank the thousands of AFP activists that stood up, contacted their legislators and called for these important conservative victories.  Sunday marked the end of the 2013 budget process but our work is never finished.  We will continue to work together to move Wisconsin forward and remain an example for the rest of the country.”
