Wendy McCuskey joins AFP as the West Virginia State Director. She has experience in political and government-related endeavors in West Virginia, Washington and Texas, including three presidential campaigns. McCuskey has a strong background in organizing grassroots activists, running successful field programs and working within the legislature.
Wendy volunteered on campaigns throughout college, but started her political career in 2004 as a WV Regional Field Director for Bush-Cheney 2004 and then served in President Bush’s Administration during his second term in Washington. She has worked on local, state and national campaigns, including serving as the 2012 Victory Directory for the West Virginia Republican Party. Previously, she served as President of the WV Chapter of The Associated Builders and Contractors. Wendy was responsible for working with state and local officials on construction related issues, lobbying the state legislature and for all of the day to day activities managing the association.
Wendy’s strong political background and relationships across the state will make the AFP-West Virginia a force in the state.
