Senate transportation leaders to gather public comment in Wenatchee on Monday
WENATCHEE — Wenatchee is one of seven cities statewide that will host public forums with state Senate lawmakers gathering opinion on priorities for addressing “critical” improvements to state roads and bridges.
“We’re looking forward to hearing from Washington resident on their priorities for our transportation system, as well as sharing some of our thoughts on how it can be improved,” State Sen. Curtis King, R-Yakima, said in a news release.
Legislators on the Senate Transportation Committee launched their tour of seven cities Tuesday. Wenatchee’s meeting will happen Monday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Chelan County PUD Auditorium, 327 N. Wenatchee Ave.
