The EPA Is Holding An Important Hearing Near You!
In early December, your voice can help change the national energy policy in favor of free-markets.
For the past decade, the EPA has mandated that an increasing amount of corn be converted to ethanol and mixed with the fuel in your gas tanks. This is called the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS). It has increased food prices, decreased fuel efficiency, and done serious damage to many small engines and boat motors.
EPA recently proposed to relax the RFS, decreasing the amount of corn that must be put in your gas tanks, and are holding a hearing in Arlington on December 5th to hear from the public. They’re finally realizing how impractical and damaging their meddling in the marketplace has been, and we need to make sure the proposed change is brought to fruition.

If you are able to come and speak against government intrusion in the market, the inefficiency of using food for fuel, and the damage ethanol does to small engines, please sign up to attend and speak immediately. We cannot let those who reap government subsidies for ethanol make a circus of this hearing!
