Rally Against Medicaid Expansion
Bell Tower, State Capitol
Monday, August 19th, 2013
After the rally activists will head to the Governor’s Medicaid Commission meeting.
“Medicaid expansion, a key part of Obamacare in Virginia, will destroy the doctor patient relationship as we know it,” said Americans for Prosperity Virginia state director Dave Schwartz. “Nearly one in four doctors already don’t accept new Medicaid patients. Expansion will hurt the folks who need the most help.”
The hearing is open to the public and press are welcome. For further information or an interview, please contact Dave Schwartz at DSchwartz@afphq.org or 443-797-5144.
