Let's thank our service members
This Memorial Day, I want to take a moment to remind you that “freedom isn’t free” – and that includes our economic freedom. We enjoy the security to work, build businesses, shop, trade, and otherwise live our lives, thanks to the sacrifices of our men and women in uniform.
However you spend the day tomorrow, be sure to remember the soldiers who made our freedom possible. Thank the service members in your family, at your church, and in your community who have given of themselves so that we can be free.
Starting this week, I hope you will help AFP continue to remind our fellow citizens about the importance of economic freedom by joining us for one of our local phone banks or door knocks! The future of economic freedom requires vigilant and active citizens to keep politicians in line.
Every week, AFP-VA hosts different events in your area. These events help us connect with more Virginians who may not be aware of the many threats to economic freedom and limited government in Washington, DC, Richmond, and even their local city or county council. Led by our team of field managers, we are identifying Virginians who share our concerns about out-of-control spending and getting them registered to vote.
Reply to this email to learn where your next local event is being held!
Please join us this week and help us remind more Virginians about the importance of economic freedom. And don’t forget to thank your service members!
p.s. We’ll be on the road all week next week in central/southside VA, so I hope to see you then!
