How you and I can still beat ObamaCare

July 10, 2012

Did you see AFP’s latest nationwide TV ad about ObamaCare yet?

If you didn’t, you can click here to watch “Not a Tax Increase?” now:

Since 2009, AFP activists have been leading the fight against ObamaCare—and mobilizing tens of thousands of Americans at our “Hands Off My Health Care” rallies, both on Capitol Hill, and in towns all across America.

And I know this ad will be another critical part of our fight against ObamaCare—but only if we can keep it on the air through the end of the week.

Can we count on your help to keep this ad on the air—and make a full repeal of ObamaCare a reality?

Please click here to donate your much-needed contribution of $5 or $10—or anything you can afford to make a difference in our fight.

A mom I met at our rally in Woodbridge, Virginia, a week and a half ago reminded me what’s really at stake when she talked about her youngest kid’s fight with a blood disorder and her mom’s heart issues. She summed up our fight best: “No issue is bigger and no issue is more personal to us.”

As I celebrated the 236th anniversary of our nation’s founding last week with my family, I thought a lot about her. ObamaCare is real threat not just to our nation’s fiscal health—but to regular Americans who don’t want government standing between them and their doctors. Our Founders wrote the Constitution to protect us from a know-it-all government—and I think they’d be standing with us in demanding a full repeal of ObamaCare.

That’s why AFP has spent so much time and effort to stop ObamaCare over the last three years.  And now, at this crucial moment, we’re not backing down.

AFP is still the group President Obama called the Left’s “biggest problem” back in 2010—and it looks like the Left is terrified that we’re going to ramp up the fight against ObamaCare once again.

In fact, two weeks ago, the Democratic Party sent out a panicked email to their biggest financial supporters, asking for help in burying our ads and stopping our momentum. And just two days ago, Aaron Sorkin’s liberal HBO show, “The Newsroom,” smeared AFP, our donors, and our message.

It’s more critical than ever that we keep this ad on the air—and show President Obama that our side is still passionate, still mobilized, and still willing to win the fight to take ObamaCare completely off the books, once and for all.

But now, we need your help to roll out the massive grassroots fight we have planned, to get more Americans behind us as we push for a full repeal of ObamaCare.

Please click here to make your most generous contribution of $5 or $10—or anything you can give right now.

Annie, I’m proud of AFP’s success in fighting ObamaCare over the last three years. But I’m also excited for the fight still to come—and glad to have you fighting alongside us to defend the freedom our Founding Fathers fought so hard for.

Thank you for everything you’re doing—and have helped us do over the last three years.

Onwards,
Tim Phillips, President
Americans for Prosperity

P.S. AFP is once again leading the fight against ObamaCare, with a new nationwide TV ad called “Not a Tax.” With the Supreme Court allowing ObamaCare to stay on the books, we’re counting on the support of activists like you to put grassroots pressure on Congress for a full repeal of ObamaCare. Please click here immediately to donate $5 or $10 or more to help us win the fight.
