Protect Virginia Jobs, Not Greenpeace's Anti-Free Market Agenda

October 24, 2011 J

Americans for Prosperity – Virginia (AFP-VA) needs you to help us stand up for a local Virginia business and its workers against Greenpeace’s radical agenda.

Click here to take action today!

Their latest campaign against Wal-Mart, Target, Kroger, Kmart, Sam’s Club, Safeway and Costco is aimed at putting Virginia-based Mercury Paper Inc., an American supplier of low-cost paper products such as Oasis Branded toilet paper, out of business. This effort threatens jobs and economic growth in Virginia at a time when we can ill afford to turn our backs on new job creation.

Americans for Prosperity – Virginia (AFP-VA) has expressed its firm opposition to this campaign by Greenpeace and the impact it will have on workers and consumers. But we need your help today.

As State Director of AFP-VA, I believe that we must continue to encourage job growth. By promoting friendly economic conditions for companies like Mercury Paper, we are sending a clear message to Greenpeace: “leave us alone, we are busy creating jobs and growing our economy.”

Join us in telling CEOs from Wal-Mart, Target, Kroger, Kmart, Sam’s Club, Safeway and Costco to reject Greenpeace and its anti-free market agenda by sending this letter today!

Sincerely,

Trixie Averill
Virginia State Director
