AFP-VA Introduces New State Director Audrey Berkshire Jackson

November 22, 2011

Thanks to conservative activists like you, Virginia has earned a reputation for keeping taxes low, creating jobs, and preventing the worst federal regulations from crossing the Potomac. Nonetheless, our work is not done. The new year will bring new challenges and opportunities to advance conservative principles and make Virginia even stronger

That is why we are excited to announce Audrey Berkshire Jackson as the new state director of the Americans for Prosperity – Virginia chapter.

Audrey will be working hard to give you a voice in Washington DC, Richmond, and your local government. She will lead AFP – VA’s on key issues concerning our economic freedom and prosperity.

A Virginian through and through, Audrey grew up in Rockingham County and has traveled and worked throughout the state. She has spent her career fighting for economic freedom and limited government on behalf of Virginia’s residents. Her previous work includes serving as an aide to Delegate Matthew Lohr, 26th House District, and Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli.

Audrey brings to AFP extensive grassroots experience working on local, state, and national issues. Her in-depth legislative knowledge, commitment to the Commonwealth, and passion for economic prosperity and freedom will make her an asset to the AFP team.

Audrey lives with her husband, Hampton, in Chesterfield, VA. We are proud and excited to have Audrey onboard.

I’d like you to do three things that will help Audrey and AFP Virginia continue the fight for economic freedom and prosperity:

1. Send Audrey an email at and welcome her to the team. She would love to hear your ideas on how we can be more effective in Virginia.
2. Forward this webpage to three friends in Virginia and ask them to join AFP and receive updates on what your local, state and federal government is doing.
3. Consider contributing $15 or $20 to Americans for Prosperity’s Virginia chapter to help provide the resources necessary to lead a strong state chapter.

Thank you for your continued activism and support. Together, we are making a difference towards our children’s futures.
