Citizen Patriots are Fighting to put America Back in American History

Americans for Prosperity and our predecessor organization engaged citizen activists and patriots in the textbook review process in Texas. Many organizations and citizens have helped put America back in American history – and what textbooks Texas purchases helps drive what publishers across the country produce.

One patriot – Bill Ames from Dallas – helped transform textbooks and has “written the book on” the infamous (and ongoing) Texas textbook wars. It is an amazing revelation to recognize how the 2009 U.S. history review panel’s attempt to revise history matched the Communist party USA’s 45 goals to destroy America, as laid out in the 1958 book The Naked Communist.
